What are your thoughts on his potential VP pick? Am I the only one who thinks Tom Cotton makes the most sense? Young but not too young, says what he means, extremely intelligent, 9 years in the Senate, has a good working relationship with Trump, shores up the veterans vote, acceptable to women, broad appeal among republicans, measured and well spoken, understands a broad range of issues very well....helps instill confidence and has a temperament that balances Trump while still being mostly aligned with him on the issues.

I can't believe the finalists are Vance, Burgum, and Rubio. I hope this is a three card monty game where none of the cards is the Queen...

What are your thoughts on Vance? This guy continually trashed Trump for 4 years until he wanted his endorsement and now he's going to be elevated to a position that makes him likely to be the nominee in 2028?

Cotton may have some disagreements with Trump, but at least they are out in the open. I respect and trust that a lot more than someone who seems to have molded himself into whatever he thought would give him the best chance at rising within the republican ranks.

Cotton wouldn't be a bad pick! I agree with you on the supposed contenders. Trump likes to surprise us - I think he might go beyond those three. I also think the pick will be extremely calculated in his/her ability to attract key constituencies in the swing states and boost his chances.

I like JD but the other 2 seem off as a Trump VP. We need FIRE not establishment.

Trump himself is fire. They may choose a candidate that helps attract some constituencies that Trump might not attract on his own. If that helps him to win and the running mate won't sabotage or stab him in the back it's a good pick. Not all moderates are establishment.
