This was such a great conversation with Kim Owens. She has been a leader with the Republican Party since she got involved in the 1980s and was able to clearly explain the problems AZGOP - and too many other state and local GOPs - are facing today.
One of the lies being perpetuated by the GOP Disruptor leaders and believed by their followers is that everyone who has been involved in the party since before 2020 is “establishment” and must be removed. Kim effectively demonstrates why that is a lie in this interview.
Further, Kim very clearly explained her concerns about the upcoming national convention. This blew me away, as we had not previously discussed this but it was something I’d been thinking about quite a but and planned to discuss the next day in my members-only podcast. That Kim’s thoughts on the matter closely mirrored my own really surprised me.
Kim also chose to use this show to publicly announce the end of her campaign for RNC Committeewoman and her endorsement of Kris Morrissey over Disruptor Liz Harris.
We even left it on a very positive note, discussing solutions and how we win in November and beyond.
In all, this was a can’t-miss episode.
