Ep. 52: The Plots Against The President pt. 3: Crossfire Razor

An in-depth summary of Crossfire Razor's role in establishing the Russia Collusion story - and will Kash investigate Razor?

Today I open and close with a review of this piece in Fortune about Kash Patel’s consulting gig that netted him $1-5M worth of stock in a CCP-owned company in 2024, even while he was paid $544,000 by the Trump campaign in consulting fees.

It appears this may cause delays in Kash’s confirmation. The more I think about that business dealing, the more concerned I am about it. What value could Kash have offered to this CCP-owned business on a part time basis that would have netted him that much value? Did Kash travel to China for this deal? His unwillingness to divests suggests he is, in fact, compromised.

Here is the article, I strongly suggest reading it for yourself.

We need to know more.

After discussing this August 2014 clip of Flynn praising the FBI and Clapper for developing a “domestic intelligence landscape at the federal, state, local and tribal levels,” I ask what is that domestic intelligence landscape designed to do? Did Flynn himself have a hand in developing it?

(video h/t Kathleen Beyer)

I then provide a broad summary of Flynn’s involvement in the Russian Collusion hoax that earned him the FBI Codename of Crossfire Razor, as illustrated in this graphic:

With the knowledge of Flynn’s connections to every aspect of the Russiagate story, why did Kash fail to mention any of them, and instead devote six pages to gaslighting readers into believing Flynn is a victim hero?

I hope that Kash has evolved in his thinking about this and would declassify all documents relating to Flynn’s role in each of these events. It is my opinion that stating so to the Senate would probably improve his chances of confirmation. But maybe it would risk Grassley and Graham, who might have something to hide in their knowledge of the investigation early on.

Indeed, Trump tweeted about this in May 2019, wishing he had been told about Flynn’s ties to Russia and activities during his campaign so he could have gotten rid of him:

Some big questions arise after looking at all this and discussing it further with some of you.

First, why was Flynn not prosecuted with Alptekin and Kian for his involvement in FARA violations with them? Flynn was more of a direct principle to the arrangement as the only party to receive significant financial gain. And he was the most culpable, as a 33 year veteran of military intelligence he couldn’t possibly claim ignorance of the law.

Next, why did none of the media on the right ever talk about Peter W. Smith, who died of suicide 10 days after telling Shane Harris of the Wall Street Journal that he was working with General Flynn’s Russian contacts to buy Hillary Clinton’s emails from Russian hackers?

This is an enormous story. Why did the FBI not use that story as the predicate for their FISA warrant and get the FISA warrant on Flynn instead of Carter Page? It was a much more viable predicate than Carter Page. While I dislike Rachel Maddow, this piece on the issue is actually pretty good, and sheds light on an additional, and very important, detail: Flynn met with Smith prior to his December 2015 trip to Moscow, where he was paid by the Russian government to have dinner with Putin.

Joseph Mifsud was also at that dinner. Mifsud was the subject of part one of this series. Was Flynn’s friend since 2013, Ambassador Kislyak, also at that dinner?

The point of all of this is that Flynn was at the center of Russiagate. Russiagate would never have happened if not for Flynn. Flynn knew he was under investigation and that he was creating massive conflicts of interests that would create problems for Trump but he never informed Trump about any of it. He didn’t even tell Trump that he was under investigation by the FBI, even though he was informed by the FBI at least as early as November 2016 (possibly much earlier?), until January 2017 - after Trump had appointed him to be National Security Advisor.

But it was all swept under the rug and covered up. As of when Kash published Government Gangsters in 2023, Kash was helping to cover it up. He knew everything I’ve shared here and so much more, but he covered it up.

Why?

NOTE ABOUT THE SERIES: This series, The Plots Against The President, will continue to dive deep into the intelligence operations against Trump and MAGA with twice weekly episodes - one free to all and one for paid subscribers. In last week’s paid episode I provided a broad overview, the 30K foot view of this series.
